A lot of people ask how long


we have


been in business.


It would be more


accurate to say we took


a brief break


during our college years,


rather than


how long we have been in


business.




I grew up


in Red Boiling


Springs Tn.


I can't ever remember not


having dogs


around, my father at one point


was the


president of the local hunting


club so


we were always living the


kennel life,


I can also remember how it was


my job


to clean the kennels everyday


and


thinking that when I grew up, I


would


never own a kennel. Well isnt it


funny


how things turn out, after I got



married and was building our


house,


my dad pulls up in the yard and


gets a


nice dog out of the truck and


tied the


leash to the light pole in our


front


yard, my oldest son(Matt) was 3



months old , our house wasn't


even


complete and all my dad said


was


"the boy needs a dog and his


name is


Sam " and he drove away. That


was 24


years ago in 1998. I guess dad


knew


me better than I knew myself .



I had my 1st Grand Show



Champion(UKC) at age 12.



My dad house is still cluttered


with


our trophies. I still remember


Bonnie


like it was yesterday.


There isn't anything better than


a good


dog, but there isn't much worse


than a


bad dog.


Our Brittanys have been here

the


longest, but many years ago, we


bought out my aunt's kennel


after her


back injury. We've been sorting


out


and building the kennel ever


since


My local vet joked many years


ago--


" thought you said you'd never


get into


the family business"



All I could do was smile
